Description
If we want to make a radical change for animals, working individually is not the way, international alliances are needed in today’s global world.
Animal welfare organisations from all around the globe need to come together and have a strong voice at international scenarios. Through SOS Animals Colombian, our national animal welfare organisations are joining this global fight.
Together with international stakeholders we look at creating a greater impact for animals, maximising efforts and resources.
What do we want to achieve?
- Connect Colombian animal welfare organisations and activists with international stakeholders
- Promote exchange programmes between international and Colombian organisations
- Work together with the Colombian foreign affairs service to include animal welfare in the cooperation agenda
- Increase the opportunities of funding of national animal welfare NGOs
- Give visibility to the work Colombian NGOs are doing at an international level
- Participate in conferences, congresses and other opportunities where Colombian animal welfare leaders can exchange views with international stakeholders
